What you'll do
- Lead financial assessment and commercial decision-making processes for strategic initiatives, investments, growth opportunities, and Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
- Own and govern the Service Logistics Business Case Assessment (BCA) process, ensuring robust financial analysis, accurate assumptions, and alignment with business objectives.
- Partner with business leaders to develop financially viable customer solutions, commercial proposals, pricing strategies, and opportunity evaluations for regional and global projects.
- Provide strategic finance business partnering to functional leaders, supporting performance management, profitability improvement, working capital optimization, and operational excellence.
- Deliver commercial insights and financial recommendations through analysis of business performance, market trends, industry dynamics, competitor activity, and economic conditions.
- Monitor commercial reporting quality and governance, ensuring timely identification of risks, opportunities, data discrepancies, and required actions.
- Support profit improvement initiatives for underperforming customers through financial analysis, action planning, and stakeholder engagement.
- Drive strategic planning and target-setting processes, including IBP, strategy workshops, initiative governance, and business performance tracking.
- Support network optimization, transformation programs, cost-saving initiatives, and strategic finance projects across the Service Logistics business.
- Align financial and commercial processes with regional and global stakeholders to ensure consistency, governance, and effective decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with the APAC Service Logistics Senior Management Team and cross-functional stakeholders to maximize sustainable growth and business performance.

Responsibilities
The Commercial Controller is a senior member of the APAC Service Logistics Finance team, providing commercial and financial leadership to support business growth, profitability, and strategic decision-making.
The role partners with business leaders to drive commercial excellence through financial governance, business case evaluation, performance management, and investment assessment. Working closely with regional and global stakeholders, the Commercial Controller delivers financial insights, strengthens commercial discipline, and supports the successful delivery of strategic initiatives and customer solutions, ensuring sustainable business performance.
