- Lead and supervise the testing and commissioning of medium- and low-voltage electrical systems, including inverters, transformers, and BESS power distribution equipment.
- Oversee the execution of NETA-based testing—such as Megger (insulation resistance), VOC Testing, VLF, and TTR—while ensuring accuracy and compliance in all performance validation.
- Manage the startup, energization, and complex troubleshooting of AC and DC components, providing technical guidance to field technicians on solar and BESS sites.
- Review and interpret complex electrical drawings, schematics, and one-line diagrams to verify installation quality and resolve critical field engineering issues.
- Coordinate directly with construction leads, SCADA teams, and utility partners to ensure seamless system integration and communication protocols.
- Review and finalize commissioning documentation, test results, and turnover packages to ensure they meet project milestones and industry standards.
- Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, electrical codes (NEC/NFPA 70E), and site-specific safety requirements across the commissioning team.
- Manage and audit energy isolation procedures (LOTO) to ensure a zero-incident environment during the transition from construction to operations.
- Assist the Commissioning Director in resource planning, scheduling, and progress reporting for multiple project sites.

Moss Energy is seeking a dedicated Commissioning Manager to lead and oversee the startup and delivery of utility-scale solar and battery energy storage (BESS) projects.
