Job Description

  

We are looking for a Customs Analyst to support import and export activities by ensuring all shipments are compliant with customs regulations, company policies, and international trade requirements. The role focuses on accurate documentation, classification, and risk management to enable smooth and compliant global operations. 

Key Responsibilities

Customs Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure all import and export shipments are compliant with applicable customs regulations and company procedures.
  • Prepare and review customs documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure correct commodity codes (tariff classifications) are assigned to all goods.
  • Maintain accurate records for all customs transactions in line with audit requirements.
  • Work with internal teams and customs brokers to provide clear and compliant instructions for shipments.
  • Monitor shipments to ensure timely clearance and minimise delays.
  • Support resolution of customs queries, discrepancies, or delays.
  • Assist with post-entry reviews and corrections where required.

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Experience in customs, logistics, or international trade
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good understanding of import/export processes including Inward Processing Relief (IPR)

  • Confident working with data and documentation

Desirable
