About This Opportunity  

As the Delivery Manager, Identity Services, you will play a pivotal role in leading the delivery of Identity and Access Management (IAM) initiatives and services that underpin secure access to UQ's digital environment. You will work collaboratively across business and technology teams to translate strategic objectives into delivery plans and roadmaps, build strong stakeholder partnerships, and drive continuous improvement, governance and service excellence across the identity landscape.

Key responsibilities will include:  

• Lead the successful delivery of identity and access management (IAM) initiatives, driving business value and ensuring high-quality outcomes.
• Translate business and stakeholder needs into clear delivery plans, roadmaps and prioritised backlogs that support strategic objectives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across business and technology domains to build consensus, manage dependencies, and enable successful outcomes.
• Drive governance, service optimisation, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance IAM capabilities, security, and operational effectiveness.

About You   

• Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience, with demonstrated expertise in delivery management across complex technical environments.
• Proven experience delivering projects and business services, using Agile, hybrid or traditional approaches to achieve outcomes.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence, communicate and build trusted relationships across diverse groups.
• Experience working with technical teams, translating business requirements into practical and scalable solutions.
• Demonstrated capability using delivery tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS DevOps or similar to manage work and track progress.
• Sound understanding of governance, reporting and delivery frameworks, with the ability to apply these effectively in practice.
• A collaborative and supportive leadership style, with the ability to guide teams, foster accountability and drive continuous improvement.
