About this role
As a Duty Management Intern, you are a familiar face throughout the hotel, as you closely monitor everything that happens on a daily basis.
You are closely involved with the Front Office team and step in whenever needed. During your internship, you will learn everything about safety procedures, complaint handling, and room-related issues. It is a versatile and dynamic internship in which you will take on a wide range of responsibilities and work independently as an all‑rounder.
Because of the dynamic work environment, every day is different — and that is exactly what makes this internship so enjoyable. No matter how varied your days are, one thing always remains the same: you ensure that every guest leaves with a satisfied feeling. And of course, that you do as well!

LEONARDO HOTEL DEN HAAG BABYLON
The Babylon Hotel The Hague, an icon at The Hague Central Station since 1978 and part of Leonardo Hotels. Centrally located, with a fantastic view and, of course, all the famous attractions within easy reach. The hotel has 143 rooms and several special meeting rooms. On the first floor of the hotel you will find our bar and restaurant "The Livingroom", where we create a real feeling of home for our guests.

WHO ARE YOU?
You are looking for an internship that aligns with your (hotel) studies.
Hospitality is in your blood, and you have a passion for the field.
You enjoy working together — you are a true team player.
You are flexibly available and do not mind working irregular hours.
You have good proficiency in both Dutch and English.
To be considered for this role, applicants must be an EU citizen or hold a valid work permit for the Netherlands.
WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?
As an HBO student, you will receive an internship allowance based on €750 gross per month (full‑time), consisting of €670 internship compensation and €80 expense allowance.
We use variable payment periods of 4 or 5 weeks, depending on the number of days and hours worked — meaning one month you may receive slightly less and another month slightly more.You work hard, and therefore we invest in you!
