GENERAL MANAGEMENT TRAINEE ( HBO )

As a General Management Intern, you will be involved in both operational and managerial tasks.

You will join various meetings, such as management team meetings and credit meetings. During your internship you will learn about all facets of a hotel. You will assist with creating staff schedules, registering working hours, and carrying out housekeeping inspections. You will also be introduced to the financial side of the operation and help with debtor administration.

There is also a Marketing component: we manage our own social media channels, and you can use your creativity to create engaging social media posts.
Did a guest write a great review about the hotel? Fantastic — that means we're doing a good job!
Less positive reviews? You will handle those promptly and professionally. Duty Management tasks are also part of your responsibilities, such as safety procedures and complaint handling.

WHAT DO YOU GET FROM US ?

• As an HBO student, you will receive an internship allowance based on €750 gross per month (full-time), consisting of €670 internship compensation and €80 expense allowance.
  We use variable payment periods of 4 or 5 weeks, depending on the number of days and hours worked — meaning one month you may receive slightly less and another month slightly more.
