About this role

We are seeking an experienced People & Culture Business Partner to join a large, ASX listed organisation operating with a national footprint. This is a true business partnering opportunity where you'll work closely with leaders across a diverse operational portfolio, providing strategic and hands-on people support in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.

About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Capability & People Performance, you will act as a trusted advisor to leaders, translating business priorities into practical people solutions that enhance leadership capability, workforce performance, employee experience and organisational effectiveness.

This role offers a broad remit across business partnering, employee relations, organisational change, workforce planning and leadership coaching, making it an ideal opportunity for a seasoned HR professional who enjoys balancing strategic thinking with operational execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with leaders to deliver people strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Provide expert advice on employee relations matters including performance, conduct, grievances, investigations, workplace conflict and attendance management.
  • Coach and develop leaders to strengthen people management capability and confidence.
  • Support organisational change initiatives, restructures and workforce transformation projects.
  • Utilise workforce insights and data to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
  • Contribute to talent management, succession planning and workforce capability initiatives.
  • Collaborate with specialist HR teams to deliver high-quality and consistent people outcomes.
  • Champion a positive, inclusive and high-performing workplace culture.
About You
You are an experienced HR practitioner who combines strong technical expertise with excellent stakeholder management skills. You are comfortable influencing senior leaders, navigating complex workforce challenges and finding balanced solutions that support both people and business outcomes.

To be successful, you will bring:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a HR Business Partner or Senior HR Generalist role.
  • Experience supporting leaders in a large, multi-site operational environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation, industrial relations frameworks and workplace governance.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex employee relations matters.
  • Experience supporting organisational change and transformation initiatives.
  • Exceptional coaching, influencing and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen and sound judgement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A professional, proactive and solutions-focused approach.
