What you'll do

  • Manage day-to-day HR operations across the complete employee lifecycle, from onboarding to separation.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced HR Operations professional to manage and strengthen day-to-day HR operations, employee records, HR systems, payroll coordination, attendance and leave administration, statutory compliance, and HR process governance.
The role requires strong attention to detail, ownership of HR data and systems, and the ability to independently manage operational processes while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and timely closure.

Key Responsibilities

1. HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle

  • Manage day-to-day HR operations across the complete employee lifecycle, from onboarding to separation.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, documentation, and HR databases.
  • Manage employee master data, changes in employment details, transfers, reporting changes, designations, departments, and other HR transactions.
  • Ensure timely completion of joining, confirmation, transfer, promotion, separation, and exit-related documentation.

2. HRMS & Systems Management

  • Administer and maintain Keka and other HR systems, including employee data, workflows, settings, access controls, attendance, leave, and related configurations.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across HR systems.

4. Leave, Attendance & Workstatus Administration

  • Manage leave and attendance policies and ensure proper system implementation.
  • Monitor attendance, effective working hours, regularization, and related exceptions.
  • Coordinate with managers and employees for resolution of attendance and leave discrepancies.
  • Maintain operational reports and dashboards for attendance and workforce-related metrics.

5. Statutory Compliance & Documentation

  • Support and coordinate statutory HR compliance requirements applicable to the organization.
  • Maintain statutory records, registers, employee documentation, and compliance-related data.
  • Coordinate with external consultants, payroll partners, and relevant authorities wherever required.
  • Ensure HR documentation is complete, accurate, and audit-ready.

6. HR Reporting & Data Management

  • Prepare regular HR Operations reports covering headcount, joining/exits, attendance, leave, payroll inputs, employee movements, and other operational metrics.
  • Maintain accurate HR MIS and dashboards.
  • Analyse HR operational data and highlight discrepancies, trends, and areas requiring corrective action.
  • Ensure timely submission of reports to HR leadership and other stakeholders.

7. Process & Governance

  • Develop, implement, and maintain HR Operations SOPs, checklists, and controls.
  • Ensure adherence to approved HR policies and processes.
  • Identify process gaps and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for HR transactions.
  • Work closely with HR, Finance, IT, and business teams to resolve operational issues.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5–7 years of relevant experience in HR Operations / HR Shared Services / HR Administration.
  • Strong hands-on experience with HRMS/HRIS, preferably Keka or similar platforms.
