  • Maintain HRIS and employee records (updates, audits, and reporting) to ensure accuracy and compliance with federal/state/local laws.
  • Support benefits administration: enrollments, changes, liaise with benefits vendors, and assist employees with benefits questions.
  • Assist with payroll processes by preparing and validating data, timesheet follow-up, and coordinating with payroll provider.
  • Manage leave tracking and accommodations (FMLA, short-term disability, other leaves), ensuring compliance and timely communication.
  • Prepare standard HR reports and dashboards (turnover, headcount, new hires, diversity metrics) and support ad-hoc analyses.
  • Maintain and update People policies, procedures, and the employee handbook; support policy rollouts and training.
  • Support HR projects (process improvements, system implementations, DEI initiatives) and other duties as assigned.

JOB SUMMARY

The People Operations Coordinator provides administrative and operational support for the People (HR) team and helps deliver an excellent candidate & employee experience across the employee lifecycle. This role manages day-to-day people operations tasks – talent acquisition, onboarding, offboarding, benefits & payroll administration support, HRIS data accuracy, employee communications, compliance tracking, and reporting—while supporting a positive, inclusive workplace.
