The HR Generalist is responsible for applying business knowledge and human resources expertise by providing a wide range of HR support and advice. This includes, but not limited to, guidance on recruitment, terminations, performance management, employee relations and HR best practices while facilitating a positive relationship between personnel and senior management.

Position Summary
The HR Generalist serves as the primary HR partner for a growing manufacturing facility of approximately 100 to 300 employees, providing comprehensive HR support across the full employee lifecycle. This role requires broad HR generalist expertise, including employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, compliance, workforce planning, HR operations, payroll, and administration, while ensuring the consistent application of company policies and Indian labor legislation.
In addition to managing day-to-day HR activities, the successful candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and continuously improving HR programs, processes, and systems that support the successful launch and sustainable growth of a new production facility. The position will work closely with site leadership and employees to foster a positive employee experience, maintain constructive workforce relations, and support organizational effectiveness in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate combines strong operational HR expertise with proven project and program management capabilities, enabling effective workforce growth, employee engagement, change management, and continuous improvement. Experience supporting manufacturing start-ups, brownfield investments, production line or product transfers, and high-volume operator recruitment will be highly valued. Exposure to complex employee relations environments and workforce representation frameworks within a manufacturing setting would be an advantage.
