About this role

 

·       Install and test stainless steel and copper instrument tubing systems, including impulse lines and pneumatic systems.

·       Carry out tube bending of ¼” / 3/8” / ½” of high purity stainless Steel tube

·       Read and interpret P&IDs, isometric drawings, hook-up drawings, technical specifications, and installation details.

·       Carry out pressure testing, leak testing, flushing, and cleaning of instrument tubing systems.

·       Install instrument supports, brackets, manifolds, valve assemblies, and associated mechanical hardware. 

·       Work closely Site team on installing High purity Flexible lines  

·       Maintain compliance with all site health, safety, environmental, and cleanroom requirements.

·       Participate in toolbox talks, safety audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in mechanical instrumentation, industrial mechanical systems, or process piping installations.
  • Experience working on semiconductor, pharmaceutical, data centre, or industrial construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of instrument tubing installation, pneumatic systems, and mechanical process equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Familiarity with pressure testing and quality inspection requirements.
  • High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary project team.
  • Excellent understanding of safe systems of work and construction site safety requirements.
  • Experience with orbital welding and high-purity process systems an advantage
  • Understanding of process gas, chemical, and utility systems.
