What you'll do
- Lead lessons and workshops focused on fashion merchandising and marketing, connecting product strategy, consumer insights, and brand positioning with current industry practices across retail and e-commerce contexts.
- Guide students through real-world product development cycles – from research and concept development to tech packs and final production (virtual or physical).
- Mentor students as they explore their creative identity and develop commercially viable, digitally enabled design solutions.
- Recognise and respond to the diverse learning needs and backgrounds of students, providing both academic and pastoral support to nurture their overall growth and well-being, and creative confidence through thoughtful, student-centred interventions.
- Support interdisciplinary, innovation-led learning that bridges design with related fields such as technology, sustainability, and communication, encouraging students to explore diverse perspectives and real-world applications.
- Collaborate with industry and academic peers to co-create curriculum that reflects emerging practices and changing trends in the professional and educational landscape.

- Strong understanding of the fashion ecosystem, including local and global market dynamics, consumer behaviour, retail strategies, and how digital innovation is shaping merchandising, marketing, and omnichannel retail experiences.
- Well-versed in contemporary retail and marketing practices, including e-commerce platforms, digital marketing strategies, brand storytelling, and data-informed decision-making across both physical and online retail environments.

- Familiarity with digital tools (e.g. Clo3D or similar) as part of the broader product development and visual merchandising process will be an advantage.
