The School of Social Sciences is looking for a part-time lecturer for the module “Food, Nutrition and Ageing”. They will be responsible for developing the course syllabus, preparing the teaching materials, completing the change proposal, tutoring students, preparing assessment components, marking of student assignments, and conducting seminars. This will contribute to the smooth running of the module for both instructor and students.
Key Responsibilities:
Teaching Duties: Preparation and development of course syllabus, coordination of lecture materials, class instruction in physical and online settings, conducting seminars related to topics on Food, Nutrition and Ageing, and handling of students’ queries on course matters.
Course Assignment Duties: Development of assessment components and grading rubrics (including setting of questions & answers e.g. quizzes), assessing and grading of the continuous assessments, and attendance during the Board of Examiners meeting to discuss students’ marks.
