Responsible for managing sourcing activities within Merge and Acquisition categories. Developing and managing the approach for strategic sourcing, supplier and stakeholder relationship. Encompassing all commercial aspects from the initial selection to effective integration, whilst coordinating with the relevant areas on their sourcing requirements. Leading negotiations, resolving contract disputes, and interfacing and influencing leadership.

We are seeking an experienced Sourcing Manager specializing in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) to join BP Business Service Centre Asia Sdn Bhd. This role will be critical in driving value creation through strategic sourcing activities related to M&A initiatives, ensuring seamless integration.

What you will deliver

• Develop and implement comprehensive sourcing strategies for M&A projects, aligning with business objectives and value creation goals.

• Lead complex negotiations with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions, and conducting thorough negotiation planning and preparation.

• Demonstrating strong Contract Management skills with the good understanding of M&A related clauses.

• Build robust plan for identified and selected suppliers, leveraging expertise in Category, existing Supplier Management and develop stronger partnership.

• Monitor and improve supplier performance, implementing strategies in line with M&A's aims

• Employ Agility core practices and Agility tools to drive efficient and effective sourcing processes.

• Apply strong Business Acumen to identify commercial opportunities and mitigate risks within M&A contexts.

• Drive Value creation and management throughout the sourcing process, identifying opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies.

• Demonstrate Digital Fluency in leveraging relevant technologies and platforms for sourcing and contract management.

• Exhibit strong Leading Self capabilities, taking initiative and demonstrating accountability in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Experience and Job Requirement

• Proven experience as a Sourcing Manager, with a significant focus on M&A activities.

• Demonstrated expertise in Agility core practices and Agility tools.

• Exceptional Business Acumen and a track record of driving value, experience with complex and critical suppliers

• Extensive experience in Contract Creation and Contract Management.

• Strong Negotiating skills, including advanced Negotiation planning and preparation.

• Proficiency in developing and implementing Sourcing strategy.

• Experience in Supplier Performance Management and Supplier Relationship Management.

• A strong understanding of Value creation and Project management principles.

• High level of Digital Fluency and able to lead parallel work under time pressure

• Strong Leading Self capabilities.
