We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Mine Control Supervisor to lead and coordinate mine control activities, ensuring safe, efficient, and effective underground operations while supporting production objectives and operational excellence. ## About the Role Reporting to the Underground Manager, you will oversee the Mine Control function and provide leadership to ensure effective communication, coordination, and monitoring of underground activities. ## Key Responsibilities - Supervise and coordinate Mine Control operations across all shifts. - Lead and mentor Mine Controllers and drive adherence to site procedures. - Monitor underground mining activities in real time. - Coordinate communication between operations, maintenance and technical teams. - Maintain operational records, reports and compliance documentation. - Support incident management and emergency response coordination. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives within Mine Control. - Ensure compliance with site safety standards and statutory requirements. ## About You - Previous experience in a Mine Control Supervisor, Senior Mine Controller or similar role. - Strong understanding of underground mining operations and safety systems. - Demonstrated leadership and people management capability. - Excellent communication, organisational and decision-making skills. - Experience with mine control, dispatch and personnel tracking systems. ## What We Offer - Competitive remuneration - 8/6 - 7/7 roster - Supportive team environment - Professional development and career progression opportunities - Opportunity to work at the Beta Hunt operation ## The Westgold Offer: A permanent full-time position at a successful gold producer ## A range of benefits including: - Performance based bonus - Group salary continuous insurance - A health and wellness allowance Health insurance discount - A range of Family and Medical leave policies that includes IVF, surrogacy and adoption. - Referral Bonus - bring your mates along! - 5 years' pro rata long service leave - Salary sacrifice options - Employee Assistance Program (EAP) that include free confidential counselling, wellbeing services that includes financial advice.
