About this role

Saltworks Technologies is a leading Canadian cleantech company solving two of the world's most pressing challenges: water sustainability and critical minerals supply. We design and build advanced industrial water treatment and lithium refining systems for global leaders in semiconductors, mining, automotive, and industrial processing.

The role:

As our Office Administrator, you’ll help keep our two facilities organized, welcoming, and running smoothly. This is a hands-on, varied role that supports senior leaders, coordinates office and facility needs, and works with employees and external vendors. At Saltworks, you'll be part of a growing clean technology company with a strong focus on integrity, productivity, teamwork, and quality.

Key responsibilities:

  • Execute multiple daily tasks while remaining organized.
  • Support senior leaders with day-to-day business operations and scheduling.
  • Support our business development and marketing team to prepare for conferences.
  • Support our accounting and HR team with administrative tasks as requested.
  • Book travel for team members across the company.
  • Welcome and assist visitors.
  • Manage office supplies and furniture (including office setup).
  • Keep meeting rooms and the cafeteria tidy, stocked, and welcoming.
  • Manage our third-party cleaning company and provide touch-ups when needed.
  • Support the execution of company events, including meals and parties.
  • Perform additional administrative duties as required.

What you bring:

  • Post-secondary education.
  • Friendly, approachable attitude with confident communication skills to 'manage up' when needed.
  • 2+ years of experience in an administrative or office management role.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle priorities and meet deadlines.
  • High proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • A keen eye for detail and a proactive, roll-up-your-sleeves approach.

If you're ready to take on a dynamic role where your organizational skills make a real impact, we’d love to hear from you!
