About the Role – Placements The Online Graduate Programme includes two placements: Stretch Placement: A role outside your academic discipline that enables you to build new skills and broaden your understanding of the wider business Core Placement: A role aligned to your interests within the Online function, allowing you to develop specialist knowledge and expertise Each placement is structured around clear objectives and measurable outcomes, giving you the opportunity to make a tangible impact while accelerating your development. Throughout the programme, you'll gain exposure to a variety of online and digital disciplines, including: E-commerce and Online Trading Digital Customer Experience Online Operations and Fulfilment Website and App Performance Customer Journey Optimisation Digital Marketing and Customer Engagement Data Analytics and Reporting Online Innovation and Future Retail Technology You’ll work with cross-functional teams to analyse customer behaviour, identify opportunities for improvement, support digital initiatives, and help deliver a best-in-class online shopping experience. By the end of the programme, you'll have developed a strong understanding of how online retail operates, how digital experiences influence customer loyalty, and how data-driven decisions help drive growth within Tesco’s online business.
