Retail, Consumer & Auto (RCA) provides specialised contract warehouse and distribution services to a range of industries across the globe including Consumer & Beverages, Specialty Retail, Auto and FMCG. Operations Manager | Healthcare

The Opportunity:

We're looking for an Operations Manager to lead our healthcare team in Eastern Creek, to ensure the day to day warehousing & distribution activities are performed safely, accurately and in accordance with customer regulations and industry requirements. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll have direct influence over operational performance, customer relationships, people leadership, and financial outcomes.

Reporting to the DC Manager, you'll be responsible for driving service performance, developing your team, managing customer relationships, and ensuring the operation consistently delivers on its safety, financial, and service commitments. You'll also play a key role in identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, innovation, and operational growth.

As an Operations Manager, you will –

• Manage Day to Day operations, and associated duties, using experience and organisation to ensure there are adequate resources to meet agreed objectives. 
• Manage and develop operational teams, creating a culture of accountability, engagement and continuous improvement.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
• Drive KPI achievement, including maintaining industry-leading service levels and on-time delivery performance.
• Ensure compliance with Chain of Responsibility, HSE requirements and all relevant legislation.
• Maintain strict adherence to TGA, ISO Standards, and Poisons Licence requirements.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, profitability and customer outcomes.
• Coach, mentor and develop future leaders within the business.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

You are a proven logistics leader with experience managing operational teams. You are equally comfortable positively and proactively leading people, solving operational challenges and engaging with senior stakeholders.

• Strong experience leading logistics or supply chain operations, with healthcare knowledge/experience being a bonus
• Knowledge of ISO standards - preferrable
• Thorough understanding of warehousing and management systems & ERP (SAP) experience
• As the most senior operational person on site, the ability to dissect and solve operational issues as they arise.
• Experience driving KPI performance and service delivery outcomes.
• Proven leadership capability with experience managing and developing large teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and customer relationship skills.
• The ability to identify opportunities, improve processes and deliver operational efficiencies.
