About this role

Position Description
This is a diverse position combining end-to-end payroll responsibilities with office administration and operational support. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth running of payroll processes, employee administration, accounts support, and general office operations.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, your role will include but not be limited to:

Payroll Administration
  • Process up to 12 payruns accurately and efficiently for over 500 employees weekly
  • Lodge payroll information with the ATO via Single Touch Payroll (STP)
  • Calculate and process payroll adjustments and manual payments
  • Prepare monthly leave reports and payroll reconciliations
  • Interpret and apply relevant Awards, EBAs, employment contracts, and payroll legislation

Office Administration
  • Manage reception and general office administration duties
  • Coordinate office maintenance, suppliers, contractors, and service providers
  • Organise catering, office supplies, stationery, and workplace amenities
  • Manage incoming mail, invoices, supplier records, and payment allocations
  • Monitor accounts payable inboxes and assist with invoice processing and receipting
  • Raise purchase orders, project jobs, credits, and customer invoices as required
Ideal Candidate
  • Previous experience in Payroll is essential
  • Previous experience in Office Administration is highly desirable
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
