Job Description

The job holder will be required to carry out Project Management for engineering design projects at our site in Bristol. We are looking for someone who is passionate about good project management and has the skills and experience to use a range of project management techniques across a broad portfolio of work.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Within area of operation, the Project Manager will:

• Plan all activities, milestones and execute the project plan for successful project delivery from project kick-off to Delivery
• Monitor costs and maintain margin
• Follow Internal processes and provide reporting where required
• Engage directly with the customer
• Perform Project Risk Management and Reporting
• Project budgeting and control of development expenses
• Maintain all internal and external documentation

Qualifications

The job holder will hold the following knowledge and skills

• Formal Project Management Qualification (APM, Prince2, PMI)
• Minimum 5 years practical Project Management experience within an engineering design and manufacture environment
• A formal engineering qualification HNC/HND required as a minimum
• MS office package – particularly Excel & Projects
• Valid driving license
• Effective negotiation skills
• Problem solving ability
• Methodical and clear reporting
• Leadership skills
• Communication/Cooperation
