Sales Team Lead (Energy)

Woods & Co has partnered with a fast-growing energy comparison business who are on the hunt for an experienced Sales Team Lead to help drive the next stage of their growth.

This is a genuine leadership opportunity for someone who wants to make an impact. Reporting to the Head of Call Centre, you'll work alongside another Sales Team Lead to drive the performance, development and growth of a remote sales team. With approximately 15 consultants today and plans to double over the next year, they're looking for someone who can help build a scalable, high performing sales environment.

This isn't a role focused solely on managing people, you'll own the sales function by implementing structure, refining processes, coaching consultants and driving continuous improvement across the team.

What’s in it for you?

• $90,000 - $100,000 + Super + Comms (OTE: $130k)

• Fully remote, based anywhere in Victoria

What you’ll do?

• Lead, coach and motivate a team of remote sales consultants

• Deliver training on product knowledge, objections and sales technique

• Build a positive, high performance team culture

• Drive sales performance against daily, weekly and monthly KPIs

• Analyse data to identify trends and improvement opportunities

• Introduce structure and best practice across the sales function

• Refine sales processes and call flows with the Head of Call Centre

• Support recruiting, onboarding and team expansion as the business scales

What you need?

• 2+ years leadership experience within the Australian energy comparison industry

• Previous experience leading outbound contact centre or phone based sales teams

• Strong leadership, coaching and mentoring skills

• A proven track record of coaching teams to exceed sales targets

• Experience implementing sales strategies and performance frameworks

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
