About the role:

We’re looking for a Senior Analyst to join our Corporate Tax team in Sydney. This is an exciting opportunity to work across a diverse client base and develop your career in a supportive, collaborative environment.

As part of our Corporate Tax team, you’ll be involved in all aspects of corporate income tax compliance and advisory. You’ll work with a broad range of clients, including large multinationals, listed companies, and privately owned businesses, giving you exposure to complex tax matters and the chance to hone your skills for a long-term career in tax.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare income tax returns for corporate entities

  • Research tax issues and draft technical advice and papers

  • Prepare tax effect accounting work papers

  • Deliver in-house tax training sessions

  • Build a strong understanding of key tax concepts, including:

    • Assessable Income, Allowable Deductions, Capital Allowances

    • Fringe Benefits Tax, Capital Gains Tax, Loss Provisions

    • Transfer Pricing, Withholding Tax, Tax Effect Accounting

  • Develop knowledge in advanced areas such as:

    • Tax Consolidation, Tax Structuring, Due Diligence, Foreign Income

About you:

You’re a motivated tax professional with a keen eye for detail and a passion for problem-solving. You thrive in a collaborative environment but can also work independently to deliver high-quality outcomes. With strong communication skills and a commitment to continuous learning, you’re ready to take on complex tax challenges and contribute to the success of our clients. Ideally, you bring 2–3 years of experience in corporate tax, a solid technical foundation, and a desire to grow your career with a leading global firm.

Essential:

  • Degree in Business, Commerce, or Finance with an Accounting major

  • 2–3 years’ experience in a similar role

  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively

Desirable:

  • Double degree in Business/Commerce/Finance/Law with Accounting major

  • Commencement or near completion of CA or equivalent
