- Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues, optimize network performance, and conduct root cause analysis using monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- On-call experience for network infrastructure.
- Understanding of the ITIL framework and service management – i.e. incident, change and problem management.
- Experience with project management toolsets such as Jira.
Nice to have
- Experience with software-defined networking (SDN) is a plus.
- Any exposure to financial services operating environment and core applications and products would be advantageous.

What’s the role?
The Senior Network Engineer - Cloud Networks is responsible for delivering expert services across the planning, design, implementation, operation and support of high-performance network infrastructure for Westpac Group.
Key responsibilities include designing and supporting secure cloud network infrastructure, driving cloud standards and automation, providing Level 3 technical support, and partnering with stakeholders to deliver scalable and reliable cloud solutions.
