Senior UX Designer, YouTube Creators Monetization

From creating user flows and wireframes to building mockups and prototypes, you will envision and bring product experiences to life with an inspired, refined, and magical feel. You will join our multi-disciplinary UX team, collaborating with Engineering and Product Management, leveraging user insights to create industry-leading products.

As an Interaction Designer, you'll apply user-centered design methods to craft industry-leading user experiences from concept to execution, working with design partners to evolve the Google design language to build beautiful, innovative products.

Responsibilities:

• Influence stakeholders across functions to gain support for design strategies.
• Drive the development of innovative design solutions to user, product, and business problems.
• Drive a holistic design process, design system, or design language across teams or products.
• Drive design solutions based on user insights, business needs, and industry trends that further business outcomes.
• Provide direction to UX designers in creating design concepts for product ideation or user research/testing.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of experience in product design or UX.
• Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in product design or UX.
• Ability to operate in a fluid, iterative, and startup like environment, maintaining the flexibility to pivot design strategies based on user feedback or technical feasibility.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and leadership skills, with an ability to translate high level strategic briefs into design directions.
• Excellent visual design and prototyping skills, with the ability to create clean, polished layouts using and extending existing design libraries.
