Job Overview

• Role Title: Service Engineer / Field Service Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Installation & Commissioning: Install, configure, and test new equipment at client sites, ensuring proper integration and operational readiness.
• Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, or software malfunctions on-site or remotely; perform necessary repairs and replace defective components.
• Preventive Maintenance: Conduct scheduled maintenance checks and routine inspections to extend equipment lifespan and prevent unexpected breakdowns.
• Customer Support & Training: Provide technical guidance, operational instructions, and best-practice training to end-users and client staff.
• Documentation & Reporting: Complete detailed service reports, maintenance logs, work orders, and parts usage records for every intervention.
• Spare Parts Management: Monitor on-hand inventory, recommend replacement parts, and coordinate with the supply chain team for timely ordering.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: Proven experience (typically 2–4 years) working as a Field Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, or in a customer-facing technical support role within the relevant industry.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities using multimeters, diagnostic tools, and technical schematics.
• Proficiency in reading engineering blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manuals.
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with CRM or service management software.
• Core Competencies:
