Site Engineer

Job Summary: Our client is seeking an experienced and highly competent Site Engineer specializing in building and housing construction. The role involves overseeing on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are executed according to approved designs, quality standards, timelines, and safety regulations. The ideal candidate must be a local professional with extensive hands-on experience in residential and building construction projects. Responsibilities: Supervise and manage daily on-site construction activities for building and housing projects. Ensure construction works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and standards. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, architects, and consultants on site. Monitor project progress and ensure timelines and milestones are met. Conduct site inspections to ensure quality control, safety compliance, and workmanship standards. Prepare site reports, progress updates, and material usage records. Manage site resources including labor, materials, and equipment efficiently. Identify and resolve technical issues and construction challenges promptly. Ensure compliance with local building regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years proven experience in building and housing construction projects. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and site management practices. Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings accurately. Excellent leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Strong understanding of health, safety, and quality control standards. Must be a local candidate with solid experience in the local construction environment.
