Job Description

Are you accurate, reliable, and looking for an opportunity to work in a dynamic laboratory environment? We are seeking a Specimen Management Associate to join our Specimen Management department.

In this role, you will play an essential part in supporting clinical research by ensuring that incoming biological specimens are received, processed, and registered accurately and efficiently.

What Will You Do?

As a Specimen Management Associate, your responsibilities will include:

  • Receiving and unpacking incoming research materials and specimens
  • Labeling and processing blood and other human biological samples
  • Registering specimens accurately in the laboratory database
  • Verifying sample information and maintaining data integrity
  • Following established procedures to ensure quality and compliance
  • Working closely with colleagues to support laboratory operations

No specific laboratory education is required for this position. Full training will be provided.

In deze rol speel je een essentiële rol in de ondersteuning van klinisch onderzoek door ervoor te zorgen dat binnenkomende biologische monsters nauwkeurig en efficiënt worden ontvangen, verwerkt en geregistreerd.

 

Wat ga je doen?

Als Medewerker Monsterbeheer zijn je verantwoordelijkheden onder andere:

• Het ontvangen en uitpakken van binnenkomende onderzoeksmaterialen en monsters

• Het labelen en verwerken van bloed en andere menselijke biologische monsters

• Het nauwkeurig registreren van monsters in de laboratoriumdatabase

• Het controleren van monsterinformatie en het waarborgen van de data-integriteit

• Het volgen van vastgestelde procedures om kwaliteit en naleving te garanderen

• Nauw samenwerken met collega's ter ondersteuning van de laboratoriumactiviteiten

Voor deze functie is geen specifieke laboratoriumopleiding vereist. Volledige training wordt verzorgd.

• Beschikbaar is om fulltime te werken van maandag tot en met zaterdag volgens een roulerend schema (maandag-vrijdag of dinsdag-zaterdag)

• Geen problemen heeft met het hanteren van bloed en ander menselijk biologisch materiaal

• Goede type- en data-invoervaardigheden heeft

• Zich snel kan aanpassen en efficiënt kan werken in een dynamische omgeving

• Betrouwbaar, proactief en praktisch ingesteld is

• Nauwkeurig en zelfstandig kan werken met oog voor detail

• Flexibel is en bereid is operationele behoeften te ondersteunen
