  • Proactively identify process simplification opportunities and raise the customer experience bar by optimizing risk-based controls and removing unnecessary friction
  • Perform competitive benchmarking to ensure Amazon Canada compliance programs exceed industry standards
  • Produce clear strategic documents (PR/FAQs, 6-pagers) and contribute to OP1/OP2 planning

Amazon Canada is seeking a Senior Product Manager to drive the product compliance vision and roadmap for the Canadian consumer business. This role sits at the intersection of customer safety, regulatory risk, and business growth — working backwards to ensure our Canadian customers have a delightful experience.

This role has considerable scope and complexity, requiring cross-team coordination across Legal, Global Trade Services (GTS), Restricted Products (RISC), Retail Category Managers, Canada Tech, and many others. You will build deep expertise in product safety and drive continuous improvement in the selling partner experience for compliance validation and documentation. The space is ever-evolving, and you will use expertise and judgment to set the right goals and design long-term solutions.

The Canada Product & Tech team aims to provide the best experience for Canadian customers by driving business inputs and deploying technology solutions where centralized tech fails to meet country-specific needs. The team focuses on five key areas: shopping experience, delivery speed, crossborder selling, secondary language experience, and supply chain.

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Experience as a product manager or owner
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

The base salary range for this position is listed below. As a total compensation company, Amazon's package may include other elements such as sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
