Position Summary:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a staff accountant – Cash and Asset Management position to work for North American Finance Service Centre (NAFSC) as one of three Finance Service Centers at Rolls-Royce and a part of Finance Operations in Global Business Services.  The Finance Service Centers provide transactional finance support for and on behalf of Rolls-Royce Finance and the wider business. With departments of Financial Accounting and Reporting (FA&R), Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), the service centers are integral to Rolls-Royce's finance strategy in ensuring that transactional finance processes are delivered efficiently and effectively both to meet customer requirements and in order to enable scalable future growth and expansion.

 

What you will be doing:

• Recording daily cash transactions and preparing weekly cash report and preparing and/or reviewing miscellaneous payments in online banking systems
• Applying appropriate level of professional skepticism to all financial transactions and task proposed transactions, as necessary, to ensure accurate financial reporting in accordance with accounting standards and group policy
• Performing regular bank account reconciliations. Reconciliations should be completed as a key financial internal coordinate as well as providing meaningful financial management information to finance business partners
• Reviewing, developing, evaluating, and modifying specific accounting procedures to ensure continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service
• Prepare journal entries, load HFM and work on STAT reporting, Perform Fixed Asset reporting
• Assist with month-end and year-end close, internal, and external audit requests, and other ad hoc projects as required

 

Basic Requirements:

• Associate degree with 3+ years in finance/accounting experience, OR
• Bachelor’s degree with 1+ years finance/accounting experience, OR
• Master’s degree finance/accounting experience, OR
• JD/PhD, OR
• 5+ years of experience in finance/accounting in lieu of a degree
• In order to be eligible for consideration, you must be a U.S. Citizen

Pay Range

Pay ranges for remote employees are based on the state where the employee resides and may vary from the posted range.

$68,255 - $110,915-AnnuallyIndianapolis, IN
