Video Producer/Editor

About the Role

Total Wine & More is seeking a Video Producer & Editor to join our Marketing team in our Bethesda, MD office. This role is responsible for producing high-quality video content across multiple channels, with a primary focus on social media. As part of the in-house creative team, you will support marketing initiatives and internal communications through compelling visual storytelling. In this role, you will leverage your video production and post-production experience to independently execute video projects, support creative campaigns, and deliver polished, on-brand content in a fast-paced environment. This role reports to the Creative Email and Social Media Manager.

 

You will

• Lead end-to-end video production projects from concept through delivery, planning and executing studio and on-location shoots while ensuring high-quality visual and audio standards that support business objectives.
• Manage post-production workflows, including editing, motion graphics, color correction, sound optimization, and final asset delivery across multiple channels and platforms.
• Coordinate and prioritize multiple video projects simultaneously, managing timelines, production schedules, stakeholders, and deliverables to ensure on-time execution and high-quality outcomes.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business needs and creative concepts into compelling video content that supports brand storytelling, marketing campaigns, employee engagement, and customer experiences.
• Drive continuous improvement of video production operations, including workflow optimization, media asset management, equipment oversight, documentation of best practices, and sharing expertise with teammates to enhance team capabilities.

A demo reel or work samples are required for application consideration. Candidates must submit materials as an attachment or include a portfolio/website link (no external file-sharing platforms will be utilized).

You will come with

• Bachelor's Degree in Film Production, Multimedia Design, Digital Media, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
• 1–4 years of hands-on video production and post-production experience in a fast-paced creative, agency, in-house, or production environment.
• Experience producing content for social media platforms such as Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.

 

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Audition or similar audio editing tools.
• Experience operating professional video cameras, lighting setups, and audio equipment.
• Ability to create and apply branded video elements such as title animations, lower thirds, and motion graphic templates.
• Understanding of video production and delivery workflows, including file formats, frame rates, codecs, compression, color correction, closed captioning, and platform optimization.
•  Experience organizing and managing media libraries within shared storage environments.
• Proficiency using Mac-based operating systems.
• Experience supporting retail, consumer, or product-focused productions preferred.
• Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently on assigned projects while seeking guidance on unfamiliar or complex assignments.
