About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and result-driven Warehouse Manager to oversee and optimize our warehouse operations. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and logistical expertise to manage inventory, streamline processes, and ensure efficient warehouse functioning.
The ideal candidate will bring a strategic approach to warehouse management, ensuring operational excellence, safety compliance, and seamless coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Roles & Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations Management

  • Oversee day-to-day warehouse activities including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching of products
  • Optimize warehouse space utilization and ensure smooth operational flow
  • Implement strategies to improve efficiency and productivity

Inventory Control

  • Ensure accurate inventory management, stock rotation, and minimize discrepancies
  • Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile inventory with system records
  • Collaborate with supply chain teams for demand forecasting and stock planning

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, manage, and motivate warehouse staff to achieve operational goals
  • Conduct performance evaluations, set targets, and provide ongoing training
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and operational procedures

Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
  • Monitor the use of PPE and safe material handling practices
  • Conduct regular audits to maintain safety and legal compliance

Logistics Coordination

  • Coordinate with sales, operations, and supply chain teams for timely dispatches
  • Manage logistics planning, delivery schedules, and route optimization
  • Ensure timely order fulfillment and efficient shipment handling

Process Improvement & Technology

  • Continuously evaluate and improve warehouse processes to enhance efficiency
  • Leverage warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking and reporting
  • Implement cost-saving and accuracy-enhancing initiatives

Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare reports on inventory status, operational performance, and team productivity
  • Maintain accurate documentation for receipts, dispatches, and returns
  • Ensure all records are updated and aligned with system data

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • In-depth knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively

Preferred Background

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in warehouse management or supply chain operations
  • At least 3 years of experience in a leadership role
