What you'll do

  • Maintain and deepen relationships with a portfolio of conglomerates and blue-chip corporate clients, serving as the primary point of contact for clients' banking needs.
  • Manage day-to-day account activities and proactively identify cross-selling opportunities across the Bank’s products and services, including lending, cash management, trade finance, treasury, and other financial solutions.
  • Conduct regular client visits and business reviews to understand clients’ operations, financing requirements, and strategic developments.
  • Assist in the preparation of credit applications, annual reviews, and other credit-related submissions, including financial analysis and industry assessment.
  • Coordinate the preparation of Letters of Offer and related facility documentation in accordance with approved terms and internal guidelines.
  • Monitor portfolio performance and ensure timely follow-up on credit-related matters, including covenant compliance, facility renewals, and outstanding conditions.
  • Prepare portfolio pipeline updates, management reports, and business activity reports for internal stakeholders.
  • Work closely with product partners, credit, operations, and other internal departments to deliver seamless banking solutions and client service.
  • Support client onboarding, account maintenance, company amendment requests, and KYC/AML documentation updates.
  • Ensure compliance with the Bank’s policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management standards.

  • University degree or professional qualification in Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate or commercial banking, preferably in a client-facing Relationship Manager or Assistant Relationship Manager role.
  • Sound credit analysis skills with a strong risk awareness and understanding of corporate lending structures.
  • Good knowledge of corporate banking products and services, including loans, trade finance, cash management, and treasury solutions.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese, including Cantonese and Mandarin.
  • Strong team player with excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to collaborate across functions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Demonstrated potential and aspiration to develop into a Relationship Manager role.
  • Holder of ECF on Credit Risk Management (CRM) accredited by The Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB) is preferred.
