What you'll do

  • Provide operational HSE support across the GSA portfolio, including contract mobilisation, transition activities and ongoing operational delivery.
  • Support tender submissions through the development of HSE plans, risk assessments, mobilisation strategies and client responses.
  • Coach and advise operational leaders to improve HSE capability, compliance and performance.
  • Facilitate risk assessments, HAZIDs, Management of Change activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support incident investigations, corrective action development and verification of effectiveness.
  • Develop HSE communications, toolbox talks and safety awareness campaigns.
  • Execute a risk-based HSE Assurance Program across Eastern Australia.
  • Conduct internal HSE Management System audits, client compliance audits, contractor verification audits and supplier audits.
  • Monitor legislative, contractual and management system compliance requirements.
  • Verify implementation of corrective actions arising from audits, investigations and inspections.
  • Participate in ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 certification audits.
  • Analyse audit findings and compliance trends to identify systemic risks and portfolio improvement opportunities.

  • Experience working with ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 frameworks.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence and build relationships across a diverse workforce.
  • Exceptional report writing, communication and presentation skills.
  • High level proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

We are looking for a motivated HSE professional to provide operational support, compliance assurance and continuous improvement initiatives across our Eastern Australia portfolio. This is an exciting opportunity to influence safety culture, strengthen compliance frameworks and partner with operational leaders to drive sustainable HSE outcomes.

About the Role

As the HSE Advisor, you will play a critical role in supporting contract mobilisation, operational delivery and assurance activities across the GSA portfolio. Working closely with operational leaders, clients and support teams, you will provide expert HSE guidance, conduct audits, support investigations and help ensure compliance with Sodexo's HSEQ Management System, regulatory obligations and client requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

To be Successful in this Role, You Will Have:

  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a Health, Safety & Environment, Compliance or Assurance role.
